SUPERFOOD FROM NATURE’S OWN STORAGE SUPPLY
Koskijärven Villitila is an eco-conscious woodland estate located in Palokki, Finland. The location is ideal for foraging for edible plants as there are no big cities or industrial sites nearby in the region of Northern Karelia, in the vicinity of the New Valamo Monastery and the Lintula Holy Trinity Convent. The environment is nature’s own pristine pasture: wild plants are allowed to grow and flourish unrestricted. We don’t seed, weed nor fertilize.
The raw materials for our products are hand-picked from the intact natural woodland estate of Koskijärven Villitila. The area is ever abundant with natural greens, herbs, edible plants, and the various crops from trees.
Your hostess is the wild crafter, herb consultant, Mimmu Nikkari. She is dedicated to concocting innovative superfood delicacies from wild herbs, berries and mushrooms.
